High Strength Connectors key to Haiti School Rebuild

CAST CONNEX is proud to have donated 170 of our High-Strength Connectors to Builders Without Borders for the reconstruction of a trade school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti – École Lakay

The school will train young Haitians in masonry, welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration so that they will be able to construct safe buildings for years to come. And with our technology, the school will also have the capacity to serve as a safe zone – providing food, shelter and medical attention – in the event of another natural disaster.

Kudos to the Canadian Construction Association, Builders Without Borders, the Association de la construction du Québec, the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction, and all of the other corporate donors and sponsors of this important project. Together we are making a difference!
