CAST CONNEX standardized Universal Pin Connectors (UPC) are used for the architecturally exposed structural steel (AESS) truss web members within the modular pedestrian bridges. By reducing connection complexity and minimizing fabrication effort, the UPCs simplified the design and fabrication of these highly visible details and supported the terminal’s broader design ethos to balance functional efficiency with architectural beauty.
