Recognized as the community, government, and cultural hub of Sandy Springs, Georgia, City Springs is a new mixed-use, public/private development that boasts a civic center, retail and residential areas, all organized around the city green.
One notable addition to this 14-acre suburban project is the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center, which showcases the main theatre offering outstanding acoustics, excellent sightlines, and three levels accomodating 1,070 seats.
Ten columns support the building’s exterior shading structure. Each is fitted with CAST CONNEX® Architectural Tapers + Universal Pin ConnectorsTM (ART + UPC), streamlining the upper-end segments of the HSS members and providing an abated silhouette with a lighter, more sophisticated feel at the connection point.
At night, the illuminated columns offer a dramatic effect and a preview of an exciting production to come.
