Michael Gray, Executive Vice-President and co-founder of CAST CONNEX Corporation, is the inventor of the Scorpion Yielding Connector. He holds a Bachelor’s and PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Toronto, with his Doctoral research forming the basis for the Scorpion product line. Michael has expertise in non-linear finite element analysis, seismic design, and steel connection detailing. His work has earned him numerous prestigious awards, including the SSEF G.J. Jackson Fellowship and the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering Donald Jamieson Fellowship.
Tarana Haque is the Technical Sales Manager for CAST CONNEX North America and the lead technical sales engineer for Canada. She received her Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and Master of Applied Sciences in Structural engineering from the University of Toronto. She has been a design engineer with CAST CONNEX since 2012, specializing in custom casting design and product development.
